Using lighting and Shakespeare’s text to set the stage in the audience’s mind, Carpenter brought 400 BC Italy to life. Don Pedro and his Celtic army have invaded Italy. The Celtic Invaders find themselves overpowered when Claudio and Benedick fall in love with Roman women.
